As an FYI in case you do get ahold of someone, it is a simple configuration on 
the Google Workspace side.  It’s the Inbound Gateway setting in Apps > Google 
Workspace > Settings for Gmail > Spam, phishing, and malware.

They just need to populate it with the IP addresses of their Proofpoint cluster.
