Yep - I recently started getting debt collection emails to a Gmail I
don't give out (only used for Google stuff). I've had the Gmail account
since the beta days, so I don't believe anyone else has ever had this
email address. The debt collection emails are for a cell phone account
with a carrier I've never used.

And there's no "unsubscribe" or "this is not me"... so it's pure spam.
I've tagged enough as spam that Gmail sends them directly to the spam
folder now, hopefully it's dropping the reputation of the sender too
(IPs, domains, etc.) for repeatedly sending such junk.
