Hello Michael,

I’ve sent a mail to 'msn-s...@microsoft.com', still whether an answer nor a
acknowledgement.

Here is a brief description oft he problem:

According to SNDS I already have access tot he IPs

  *   192.168.72.0-192.168.72.255: Access Status: Normal
  *   192.168.73.0-192.168.73.255: Access Status: Normal
  *   192.168.74.0-192.168.74.255: Access Status: Normal

Please Note: These are not the real IPs😉 Real IPs offlist.

But If I try to add them in JMRP following problem when managing the list:

IPs Sending Feedback:

  *   192.168.73.0 – 192.168.73.255 (selected)
  *   192.168.74.0 – 192.168.74.255 (selected)

IPs Pending Authorization:

  *   192.168.72.0 – 192.168.72.255 (selected) <- WHY?

Authorized IP addresses:

  *   192.168.73.0 – 192.168.73.255 (not selected)

There is no way to select the IPs, everytime I get the error „Sorry! Error in
saving feed details“

So, I have access tot he IPs, but SNDS/JMRP might have a different opinion☹

Regards,
   Bernd.

As noted, having the IP ranges in question might help in getting to the bottom
of the issue. 😊

Aloha,
Michael.

You might need to share the IP range you're talking about;
From what I recall, their validation mechanism would send an email to the
relevant address mentioned in the WHOIS of the range, or to certain addresses
(like postmaster@ or abuse@, I don't recall) of the domain(s?) used for PTR.
And if it's a full range, you must have PTR records all the way.

Subject: [mailop] Help using MS JMRP

Hello List,

is there anybody on the list who might help me.

I’ve successfully registered tot he SNDS and JMRP service from Microsoft. I’ve
successfully requested access to my IP-ranges.

Now I’m trying to setup a feed on the JMRP but I’m not able to add one special
IP-range to the feed. When trying to manage the feed the IP-range is shown as
„IPs Pending Autorization“.
The same range is also shown as „Autorized IP addresses“. When trying to add I
always get the error

Kindly resolve the following error(s):
- Sorry! Error in saving feed details

Any hints or tips how to resolve this error?

With kind regards,
   Bernd Brodda.
