I don’t believe I ever said “dealing wit it offline because making it public is 
not the way to fix the issue.” But it you can show me where I said that, I will 
happy correct it. 

I did say a couple things about making issues public, including: 

"Talking about it on a public mailing list is very different from addressing 
the issue. In fact, I’d say public discussions are a last resort.” 

In a different email I said: 

"But, it’s kinda a big deal to call out stuff like this and while we’ve called 
out blocking companies / blacklists in the past, I’m not in a position where I 
think that will provide an overall benefit by making the information public. 
It’s also not like I’m the only person who knows this.“ 

Please either prove or correct your statement.
