Fellow mailops,

I could need some advice and review: Since more than 2 weeks my IP
188.40.39.209 is blocked by Microsoft (e.g. (host mx3.hotmail.com
[65.55.37.104] said: 550 SC-001 (COL004-MC3F7) Unfortunately, messages
from 188.40.39.209 weren't sent. Please contact your Internet service
provider since part of their network is on our block list...)

The server went out of business last year. Since then I use it only
privately, almost zero traffic, strictly tied down, following
Outlook.com's http://postmaster.live.com/Guidelines.aspx , signed up
on SNDS + JMRP, was never blocked, no reports, never on any
blacklists, on dnswl.org med since years.

Contacted Outlook support 2 times (last time on Friday) via
http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkID=614866 : Since I received 2
times exactly the same statements even though I asked differently I
can only assume that nobody there actually took the effort or had the
access level to look more closely at the case. So I ended up 2 times
with: [We are] "unable to provide any details about this situation
since we do not have the liberty to discuss the nature of the block."

I am at loss. My only guess now is that there is an error, maybe
related to the fact that I am running spamtraps with feeds to
Uribl.com and Spamcop.net. That in fact happened once a few years ago,
so it would not surprise me. But then the explanations I got from
Hotmail support would be completely off.

Any idea?
