Hi Greg,

My version of MM is 6254. There have been several changes in OAUTH for various
providers, including, Google, Outlook/Windows Live, Yahoo accounts, which for
me now use OAuth2. Have found that slightly different set ups make a huge
difference and behave in unique settings in MM, particularly Google. MM does
work on all for me.

Back to Yahoo… Check your MM Source IMAP settings on the account against mine.
See if that helps confirm yours. I can use OAuth2 option only on the IMAP side
*unchecked in SMTP* as you will see on the screenshots.

I tried it the another way too, with OAuth2 enabled on both and it works
equally well after reauthorizing. No spinning wheel, it just works.

So [I posted both working setups
here](https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/10UBqWDdatoR5YkXrFcXwzec_Y82kESFP?usp=sharing)
 as well.

MM sends a test message from Yahoo to another account and receives messages
sent from another account. Maybe you should try a similar process, if possible,
with the same setup in your Yahoo Mail account? Also compare functionality in
Mail app.

Also of note, in my case, when I made a successful change, receives an email
notification of it at my Yahoo Inbox and my rescue email account’s inbox. There
may be default security settings on your account that may need enabling if you
do not show it likewise. Have you looked into those?

Will try the latest version you use and report any difficulties with Yahoo! On
this thread. I suspect there will be none.

Respectfully,

Henry Seiden
