I explained the process with screen shots in a message back on August
3 (Subject "Delete messages completely in the Deleted Messages Folder
older than a month?") sent at 12:32pm Pacific Time. Since you're new
to MailMate you may have joined the mailing list after that date. I
don't want to send the explanation and images again because the list
is configured so that attachments cause messages to get blocked until
Benny manually approves them, which takes some time. I'll send you the
message separately, off-list.

Unfortunately I don't see that one, possibly because they don't preserve
messages with attachments.
