Hi Rick,

Assume you’ve reviewed and created a smart mailbox with items in it, like “All 
Message Filters” then narrowed that with Conditions section to certain items to 
choose from.

I have two comments about making Rules:
1. I’ve had issues with my rules locking up in the latest version v6065. So I 
use v6058 or earlier.
2. To accomplish a condition you refer to, where an action is taken after a 
message is multiple DAYS old you can create a condition set in the Rules> last 
tab icon marked, “Rules for applying actions to new messages”> Condition 
Section, “Date-Received drop-down, is not within  last x days.” In the Actions 
section you specify an action (E.G., “move to a Deleted mailbox”). These all 
use dropdown menus.
