This is true of my personal experience, and I’m probably the target audience. Before finally adopting MM late last year, I had at least glanced at it in my previous searches for the perfect email program, which I had done probably every few years. At one point or another, I definitely passed it over due to what seemed like a lack of updates, and remember being unclear as to how much development it was getting. I actually don’t expect email programs to be significantly updated all that often. In testing others, I’ve found that some updated too often, unnecessarily changing things which I found frustrating. But I think some active development is needed to (try to) keep up with macOS’s updates, fix bugs, and add new features when it makes sense. I think I read a review that mentioned its active development despite its lack of “full” releases - as well as its committed user base - both of which convinced me to look again. By then, Benny had updated the site to say that a 2023 “beta” was the recommended version, along with the latest screenshots showing an updated UI. I gave a whirl and haven’t looked back. Thank god! I’ve been more than satisfied with the 1.14 (5937) release, but also look forward to trying some of these newer versions. I appreciate everyone’s feedback and am glad to finally be here. And thanks to Benny for creating a really great bit of software! Devyn _______________________________________________ mailmate mailing list Unsubscribe: https://lists.freron.com/listinfo/mailmate
