I’m seeing that a new RFC was published RFC9051, in 2021. [available
here](https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/rfc9051/). The relevant section
appears pretty much intact, however, if you want to check it out (2.3.2,
“FLAGS MESSAGE ATTRIBUTE”).

Alexandre,
Sorry, no. I can’t even figure out if there are any flag mappings
from M-M to Mail.app and vice versa. With itself no problem in M-M to
the outside via IMAP accounts, not so great. Yet there is supposed to
be a flag bit in the protocol (RFC 3501, RFC 3501 - INTERNET MESSAGE
ACCESS PROTOCOL - VERSION 4rev1, see section 2.3.2.) as is mentioned
[in this timeline of development of IMAP
protocol](https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/rfc3501/). We all know this
is voluntary stuff.
Seems like the question is really for the email clients’ software
and the servers that may be stripping that for their own purposes.
Maybe Benny has some insight?

Quick question
Did anyone manage to “map” MM Flags to Outlook Flags (Categories
as they are called) ? Are they exposed in O365 / Exchange IMAP
(admittedly poor) implementation ?
