Melvin. Ubuntu 10.04 shows a blank screen upon booting. Details can be seen in the above link. I'm right now using Ubuntu 9.04 which is nearing end of life. Please follow up this issue. It seems to be an incompatibility issue with my video card: Intel 845GL.
