Hi all, Mr. Thomas has made a valid point here. Actually dint get time to check whether it was a python script or a binary. I believe it was a binary. Anyways, i found this article on net which explains how to configure the MTS device very easily and get it running, without using the built in interface (or the so called deb/rpm package). Its addressing many issues... But i believe it will work.
http://anshumanpandey.wordpress.com/2010/08/08/using-mts-mblaze-ubuntu/ Its configuration for Ubuntu Lucid...but i am quite sure this will work on other Distros too.
