Ahem! Wrong thread.
Anyway, I think the kernel concept is sometimes difficult for everyone
to grasp. And it doesn't make much difference to a noob. However, for
the sake of accuracy, using the term "GNU/Linux distro" is recommended
over simply "Linux".
