@Anoop - If it was now, i would have done that :D... but 4 years ago?..no way ;)... But eventually, i started finding solutions to everyone of my problems on forums. So i dint have to go on IRC. Its like, i found it easier and faster to google out the solution rather than wait for someone to read my question and answer it after say 15 mins!!... and the answer could be "Try googling :p"... So thats another reason why i dont go on IRC. Not scared or revengeful or anything :D... @ Azad - I can understand the level of embarrassment u would have encountered. It is very much important to find and nourish the right newbies so that they would continue the legacy of Free Software. Or else like democracy, if its not excersised, it would die and seize to exist. The future of this great idea now lies in our hands. Especially, in kerala, we have a huge talent pool; but the problem is no one is tapping it properly. People still dont know how to make it a profession. And i think shedding light on it together with the principles of Free Software...would make a huge difference in the way people think of the concept :). I think we will be able to attract more capable and powerful brains into our field of Freedom... I think ur name suggests u were destined to be in Free Software ;).
