Definitely a serious article. Its the situation almost everyone 
faces..especially the newbies. When i was a newbie once, i had such a bad 
experience when i entered a chat room, i was told very impolitely to get out, 
after which i stopped chatting in IRC and started to depend completely on 
forums and most recently, heavily on Ubuntu forums. Not all people could be as 
patient as we are. Many talented people who come into Free Software; as said in 
the article; scrap things up when they see that support is not available to 
them. Hope this culture changes soon and the real meaning of sharing of 
knowledge comes into effective practice in the world.
