They know exactly what they are doing. I believe that the goal of all DRM
Implementers are the same -> Get more profit in their business by
restricting the users. The same here too. They want to increase the no: of
copies sold this year.They are not bothered about the freedom of the users
of those VCDs. I think Apple iPOD with iTunes is a perfect example of DRM.

It is a good idea. But sometimes it is easy to change the attitude of
students than changing the decision of the management. If students are aware
of DRM, they won't buy the VCD. So eventually, management will change its
decision.
