[Mailinglist] alsa problem

I installed debian sarge on my system. But I am not able to configure
sound card. When I run alsaconf it's not selecting my sound card. How
I can configure my soundcard.
When I run #lspci it shows this as sound card device
Multimedia audio controller: Slicon Integrated System [SiS] sound
controller (rev 0f)
