i dont know anything related to SNMP(Simple Network
Management Protocol) and its link to System temp..!

check out ACPI,ur M/B houses a chip that gives the
system temp (mostly they dont have drivers in linux)

i would be pleased if u giv more info on SNMP and its 
details
