Dear Nikunj Khakhar,

I am having a pentium mmx 166 mhz with 32 mb of ram sis6215 display card and
2gb hard disk. AT present I am using Debian GNU/Linux (Woody). I can
comfortably run GNOME, but KDE is slow because of low memory. Redhat and
Mandrake distriburions run a lot of unwanted services that takes up a lot of
ram. The great advantage with Debian GNU/Linux is installing and
uninstalling of pacakges as an when required and disk usage is also minumum.
With less than 1 gb one can set a resonable setup (including apache, postgres,
php etc.). More orver there are multiple packages of each purpose. (four
webserver, two proxy servers, three to five ftp packages, MTA etc etc).you
can select them according to your interest.
I suggest Debian GNU/Linux if you really want learn and master .

With regards

M.Balakrishna Pillai.
