Then, i suggest you do. It may be worth the effort. I only hear dual voices a 
little bit at the login window and speech stops when hitting ctrl one time. In 
only Mavericks upgrade i needed to hit two or three times. I can only speak for 
my system, so i do not promise anything. I have only experienced strange 
behavior with ZoomText and a dictionary program so far, but theese problems 
solved themselves after reboot it seems.
