Hello Phil, Your messages prompted me to check for updates and the latest version is dated June 7 of this year. If that's the one you've got, then no problems.
If you need to update FineReader, make sure the application is closed, then do the installation as usual and it will automatically replace the old version. Your serial number should be carried over to the new version without you having to do anything. Remember to repair permissions after installing new software.
