Hi Chenelle. I'm assuming you're running iOS 6. Find the song you wish to delete, and then flick up with one finger to the delete action, and double tap. That's it. If you're running something with iOS 5, I think the process is more involved, unless there was a more simple way to do this before that I was not aware of.
