Good morning all, the problem simply boils down to this I can't seem to sign
into the Mac App Store, because when I went to download a free application, I
keep getting the error message that I must sign in before it can download. So
when I attempt to sign in, absolutely nothing happens. I've spent at least two
hours on the phone with AppleCare, and even they seem to not be able to find a
solution. However they seem to strongly feel that it is voiceover and not the
operating system. Because one of their engineers did do a screen sharing
session, and saw what I needed to click on but voiceover certainly did not. I
really at this point do not feel like reinstalling my operating system, and
then about to start doing some part-time work with the community college that
I'm going to be attending next month. Not to mention the fact that I've now got
learning allies book manager, and book reader working perfectly on the Mac. And
since it's working beautifully, I don't want to break it. Since I have three
classes, I don't know what will break if I were to redo my system. All this
work for free application? Does anyone have any good ideas?

Sincerely a somewhat missed, and frustrated Maurice.
