Hi Joseph, I've just tried turning on the check box for "Display welcome dialog when VoiceOverstarts" and sure enough, no welcome message comes up when I turn VoiceOver off and back on again. So, no, it appears to not only be on your system.

The option to display the Welcome dialog still exists, but, effectively does nothing. You can still get the VoiceOver quickStart via the VO+Command+f8 keystroke, but, unless a new user knows this, he may never get the Welcome message for the first time. Is this my system, or, is this something anyone else on the list can confirm? Thanks! -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "MacVisionaries" group.
