Yes, I would rather know where the cursor is it have a turned off completely. I do wish they had an option which would allow for all six dots to be displayed as the cursor. For me, there was no confusion when that was the case with the braille note. In any event, blinking is okay. When you going to global options and you find the choice for how you want to cursor displayed, just hit the space key to cycle through the options. When you find the one you wish to change, Press the enter key and your choice will be saved.
