Hi Teresa,

I just had this problem last night. here are the steps:

1. go to Settings.

2. Go to Do Not Disturb.

3. Inside Do Not Disturb there should be a choice where you can turn off manual. It'll say "Manual On" and if you tap it again it will say "Manual Off."

4. Depending on the IOS version you may have more options if so email back and I'll guide you further.

Hi, guys,

I've tried all the tips, and I even turned off VO and used the mouse keys. I held down
the option key and clicked on Notification Center. It still says "do not Disturb
on".

By the way, the way to turn it on his to click where it says "show alerts and banners".
however don't do that till we figure a way to turn *off "do Not Disturb!" You're supposed
to be able to invoke Do Not disturb by option-clicking on the Notification center in the menu bar,
but now I'm not at all sure it works as a toggle.

thanks,
teresa
