Hey Nicholas, Thanks this was very helpful. I believe there is a trial for docuscan, so I think I am just going to have to try it out. As getting the partial scans sometimes through the Canon software's poor OCR can be frustrating. Just an FYI, I did need some sighted assistance when setting the canon software up, as some of the setup I couldn't get to work, but now that I have it set, I just press a button on the scanner, it scans the piece of mail, and opens automatically in preview, so that is nice.
