Hi, The only times I've had this sort of issue is when the Trackpad Commander is turned on. Accidental touches on the trackpad are usually ignored with the Commander off whereas with it on, they are considered gestures to act upon. Also, when you have cursors tracking each other, the typing action will usually bring the mouse pointer along with you while typing.
