I signed up for a subscription of MacWorld on the Kindle without realizing that it is available through NFB Newsline. The version of the magazine on the Kindle app appears to be quite a bit different from the Newsline version. I've looked at the current and previous version of the magazine in Newsline to make sure I wasn't viewing two different issues. The Kindle app offers a 30-day trial of their magazines, with the PC World subscription costing $1.99 per month. If anyone is familiar with the version of the magazine on Newsline and wouldn't mind taking a look at the Kindle version, I would be very interested in your observations.

Hi all, Is anybody else with an iPhone 5 not able to flick left and right in the reader menu? I don't mean the home screen, but the menu from within a book. I can touch elements on the screen and activate them, but I have to find them rather than flicking to them. On the iPad the reader menu works normally, so I'm wondering if it's an iPhone 5 issue? Otherwise, I'm loving the accessibility on the Kindle app. Lisette On 5/05/2013, at 8:40 AM, Ricardo Walker <rwalker...@gmail.com> wrote: > Hi, > > Why? I can't see why that would matter much. But, I would assume the kindle pages probably hold more text since there are no controls or elements visible on the screen unlike iBooks. But, I'm no where near certain of this. Its just a guess. > > hth > > Ricardo Walker > rica...@appletothecore.info > Twitter:@apple2thecore > www.appletothecore.info > > On May 4, 2013, at 2:50 PM, Jane <juanitatig...@gmail.com> wrote: > >> One thing I have been trying to figure out is if the Kindle pages are any bigger than the iBooks pages. >> >> Jane >> >> >> >> >> On May 4, 2013, at 2:47 PM, Danny Noonan <da...@familynoonan.net> wrote: >> >>> I don't mind the page turn noise but do set the smallest font size to maximise the amount of text on each page though. >>> >>> Danny >>> >>> Sent from my iPhone >>> >>> On 05/05/2013, at 1:05 AM, Maria & Joe Chapman <bubbygirl1...@gmail.com> wrote: >>> >>>> I don't mind the page turning sound either.
