Ok, I finally got it working after I started having 1 issue after another with
it, then it for some reason kept repeatedly saying "authentication," over and
over, and wouldn't stop talking, but wouldn't let me type anything, and I
couldn't access anything else. So then I had to call Apple, get in touch with
Accessibility, and spent almost an hour with them doing this and that, which I
unfortunately don't remember now, before I finally got it up and running, and
they told me to unplug everything but the power cord.
So I then got it up and running and downloaded the software so they could
connect to me via their server, and everything worked fine until they suggested
I plug my passport drive back in, then everything started acting up all over
again. So it looks like I'm going to have to back all my stuff up so I can
reformat it and see what's wrong with the thing, considering the fact that I
haven't had it that long.
I can't believe I'm having to do this, sense I have a ton of stuff on the
thing, but on another note, at least my system is back up and running and I
have a second computer I can use for the time being to back up my stuff.
