Hi Anita, I really would strongly urge you to take the advice of many on this list regarding listening to the David Woodbridge podcasts from Applevis. By listening to him accomplish various tasks, you will learn how to open programmes, use the dock, and navigate VO utility etc. It really is worth taking some time to quietly listen to these things and you will get a real feel for the Mac. That's what I did and really helped me learn those basic things. People are happy to help, but part of that is helping yourself too. www..applevis.com and search for mountain lion. even if the particular task he is demonstrating is not what you need, the principles he uses of how to get around and how to open programmes etc will really help you.
