Hi folks,
I recall some posts on accessible TV listings in general, so when this
came across my desk I thought I would share.
The American Foundation of the Blind now has a very user friendly tool at.
www.afb.org/tv
The search lets you find video description in your area based on zip
code provider and program type as well as time of day.
Seems to work fine with low graphics browsers.
Additionally, there are tips for turning on the description on your
television.
Note this is not a general TV guide, only for described programs. Also, no
good for those of us in Canada, but it would be a fine idea. Say
approaching zap2it.com about providing a comparative portal.
Actually zap2it lists cc programs, and works fine in a low graphics
browser. Such might work for general listings regardless of where you are
located.
HTH,
Karen
