Hello Paul. I backup and restore my data with a wifi transfer. When I run the backup option the IPhone becomes a small server that lets me download my data to my mac. The same applies for restores. You also have IVloud backups so you have plenty of redundancy. You can use your mac for backups but don't need to run Pocket Money on the mac.
