Paul, you don't need a mac version of Pocket Money. A Mac version exists but
it's inaccessible. You can work with all of your registers on the IPhone and
get ending balances. You can backup the data on your mac and restore it from
their. You can also back it up in the cloud so you're covered both ways.

Subject: Re: Looking for a good checking account program

Hi. I assume that pocket money has a mac or Pc program as well as the iPhone
app?
I'm not to worried about check printing nor budgeting.
What I want to do is to enter transactions into my registries whether it is
the credit card or my checking account.
I want to be able to transfer funds between one account and another.
I'm not looking for this to go online and do this with the bank; just enter
the information transferring money from a savings account to a checking,
etc.
I also want to be able to look at a specific registry to see whether an item
has been entered into the registry.
I also want an end of balance total so I can know how much I have to
spend<grin>.
I am using clear checkbook; but I'm worried as everything is stored on their
server. If that server ever goes down, all of my info is gone. I'd like the
ability to store my info on the mac with the main program; so I have a hard
copy of that data to keep my own backups.
Hope this isn't to complicated. Thanks for any info you can add.

> Hello Paul. I use Pocket Money by Catamount Software. It does what you
need and more. I keep my checkbook on my IPhone and my mac is out of the
loop entirely. It's very accessible with Voice Over. My wife and I each have
a version which we synchronize via email partnering and web synchronization.
Finally it has a nice budgeting feature. It does not support check printing
yet. If you have additional questions please let me know.
