In defence of braille blaster, it's only been a going concern for a year and a half. They're trying to support three operating systems. They had no funding at all lat time I was in touch with the project. And, most of their user base and contributing developers are using windows as a primary os. If there are mac people here with java experience who can contribute to the project, we'd all appreciate it.
