Hi again folks. 
Tim, I sort of got it to work. VoiceOver said Edit Text, but on a complicated 
form like the IRS form 1040, I can't tell where I am and which field I am 
choosing. I can type in text like you said, but who knows what field it went 
in. I did do the VO shift space like you suggested. I suspect that a fairly 
simple form would work ok. However, one like this with many fields gets 
confusing. I have filled out some really horrible IRS forms in Windows. 
However, unless you think up something else I haven't done, I guess I'll have 
to wait for those smart folks in California to figure it out. After all, they 
figured out what yours truly thought was the impossible, a blind person using a 
touch screen.
