Oh yes, I can in fact duplicate this. I will do this right away. I don't see it a deal breaker myself but yes I see what you mean and am happy someone else has the same problem.

I find a delay even with characters if I type an invalid character. That is, the click
plays to tell me I've tried to enter something the app won't allow, then the next
character I type takes a second to be echoed. I don't like word echo, but I turned it on
briefly and found it to be as delayed as you do. Go to brailletouchapp.com, click
support, then click "report a bug". The more the developers hear about this,
the more they can try to solve it.

Hi all
I'm wondering if others are finding the response times in this app a little
slow? I have it set to echo words only, and I have to wait about a second after
pressing space to hear the word. I'm using an iPhone 5. Just wondering if
others have noticed this.

Hi,

Try left flicking with one finger to delete the last letter it typed and then
start again. Sometimes when you oress one dot and then move your finger the
previous dot stays down for whatever reason. I actually love the app, and have
very good results with it. It really does increase speed even more than
fleksie does. Just keep trying and be patient. It takes a bit to get used
to, and there's always the advanced mode that reverses the dots if that feels
better to you.

Subject: BrailleTouch: Still more irritation by far!

The odd thing is just as I started getting it to work consistently, I put
the phone down for not even a matter to just eat dinner, come back, and now,
even holding the phone correctly, I'm not only getting the results I got
earlier, but it's doing all kind of random letters. I tried just doing dot
1 for an A, and it thought I wanted a full cell. I tried doing the letter
n, and it thought I wanted a new line. One time I did a dot 4 trying to do
the, at, sign, and it did the letter w. Just totally! randomness. I really
don't get why this thing's so inconsistent! This is just my opinion, you're
also entitled to your's as I am to mine, so if you don't agree with me,
that's your right, but tough, as far as trying to change mine, as unless
someone can consistently work with me and convince me why I should keep/buy
it, I'm definitely not going to be. Before you ask, yes I did politely mind
you, so don't go there, write the devs. No responses yet though more than
you raise valid points Mr. gilland. When I asked well, what can we do about
it, they just said, we're not sure. That's tré assuring to hear. Sarcastic
smile. I'm not giving up yet, as you all know me... I don't take no for an
answer, but this is insane! Sayhing this thing's forgiving where you place
your fingers? Um... I don't! think so!
