Hello Ricardo, Thanks for the info about the iOS 6.1 update. I downloaded it, and the installation went fine.
There is one thing that might be helpful for people to know while installing this update. After the software has been downloaded and verified, you will be told that the system will shut down and then reboot. During the reboot process, VoiceOver won't work. While this is understandable, I started getting a little nervous after two minutes of silence. When I asked my daughter what was going on, she told me that the unit was still rebooting. To make a long story short, the rebooting process takes almost ten minutes, or at least it did on my 4S with 64 GB/RAM. Once the phone has rebooted, you will be taken to the iCloud settings where you will need to configure your phone for messages and contacts for iCloud, etc. Best regards to all, Mike On 28,Jan,2013, at 7:18 PM, Ricardo Walker <rwalker...@gmail.com> wrote: > Hello list, > > I just wanted to inform you guys and gals that IOS 6.1 is now available on > iPhones, iPads, iPod touches, and Apple TVs. > > hth > > Ricardo Walker > rica...@appletothecore.info > Twitter:@apple2thecore > www.appletothecore.info > > -- > You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups > "MacVisionaries" group. > To post to this group, send email to macvisionaries@googlegroups.com. > To unsubscribe from this group, send email to > macvisionaries+unsubscr...@googlegroups.com. > Visit this group at http://groups.google.com/group/macvisionaries?hl=en. > For more options, visit https://groups.google.com/groups/opt_out. > > -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "MacVisionaries" group.
