Thanks. That didn't work, but you gave me an idea to try something you 
sometimes have to use in Xcode. Here's what did work:
1. Move vo to the folder you want to move, then route the mouse to it with 
vo-cmd-f5.
2. Disable cursor tracking with vo-shift-f3 (remember to add function if your 
machine requires it).
3. Press vo-shift-cmd-space to lock down the mouse button.
4. Move to your favorites bar and go to where you want your folder, then route 
the mouse there with vo-cmd-f5.
5. Release the mouse button with another press of vo-shift-cmd-space and the 
folder should go where you want it to. Remember to re-enable cursor tracking 
once you are done (vo-shift-f3).
