I know there's been alot of traffic about the Pages app, and I'll look through
the web archive later. For now, I just want opinions on Pages as an accessible
word processor vs other apps.

I come from the PC world and am quite familiar and comfortable with Microsoft
Word, but I want to be able to do professional documents on the Mac at some
point.

Is the learning curve on pages as formidable as I've heard? is it worth the
hassle? How's the accessibility?

I want to be able at a minimum to do:
Headers and footers
Tables would be nice
Paragraph and heading styles

What are your thoughts on Mac word processors, and Pages in particular?
thanks
