Hello Gigi,

VueScan isn't in the appstore. You get it from:
www.hamrick.com

It costs $39 for one year or $79 for life. We've had this application for over
ten years now, so life does mean life!

VueScan is kept up-to-date on Mac, Windows and Linux, with updates every few
days if you want them. It also does OCR which works reasonably well in English,
but not so well for other languages.

With VueScan, you can set it to scan multiple pages and set the number of
seconds between scans. It's much more complex than ABBYY FineReader but it can
be more efficient as far as time goes.

VueScan can also be set to launch another application to do the OCR.

Cheers,

Anne
