Hello Chris, ABBYY FineReader Express is very good and can handle up to three languages in one text. I've been using it for a couple of years and am very satisfied with it.
My objection to DocuScan is that it only handles English which is no problem for many people, but for those of us who live in a non-English-speaking country, it's not an option.
