John, I do have respect, and I apologize if you were offended at my comment,
but what you need to understand is that this hasn't been going on just in
your word, his word, over the holiday. This has been going on for over a
year that the mod hasn't seemd to really be very responding with myself, and
it isn't just me. I have a lot of other friends who also have been having
issues over the past year or so since the beginning of 2012 which have not
been answered. Under normal cercumstance John, I'd be right with you in
saying that my mail was quite disrespectful in nature. In this particular
case however, I feel it is justified, as things just are not seeming to get
delt with. Again, as I initially said: I understand holiday travel, believe
me, and I also totally understand that people have lives aside just managing
the list, believe you me, but how much patients must one show? As I said, 3
months to be approved? One year without a mod responding to people like
myself etc? I have nothing but respect for the mods. I'd hope you'd know
that, but what I don't however have any respect for is people who don't live
up to their job. Again, I'm willing to open mouth, insert foot, but right
now, at least, this has been my observation for quite some time on going.
With that said, all I can offer you and others is my apology. If I've
offended anyone, I'm sorry, but I have the utmost intention to stick to my
guns until proven otherwise.

I have a friend who tried joining, and it literally took 3 months before
the mods approved his subscription. By then, he'd already forgotten about
it, given up, and said screw it, I don't really want on the list after all
anymore anyway.
I've asked things like this, or how to get ahold of the mods many many
times, and no list member seems to answer, nor really know. Not to
mention, when I've asked the mods before to contact me, they never have.
If this were truely a matter of Chris, you need to wait, and be more
patient. They have lives, you know... that would be one thing, but this is
about the 4th or 5th time I've seen list administration questions come up,
which never get answered. As for your specific friend's question, I wish
I could give you a more concreet answer, but I honestly can't. I'm just
writing to say, once they're on the list, they're fine, unless a problem
arises, which fortunately almost never does, but if one does, good frickin
luck! It's driven me so crazy a few times, I've almost recently
considerred leaving the list. I'm not quite yet to that point of
decision, but I'm slowly but surely considering it. I really don't want a
list that isn't seemingly at least, managed at all. If I'm in the wrong,
I'll be happy to open mouth, and insert foot, but from what I see, I'm not
incorrect in my thought process.
