I'm only disagreeing to help without payment, as maybe Brandon's right. You gotta make a living somehow, and it's obvious that nothing I post here really ever is greatfully appreciated. Everything I say, you all disagree with. I could say the sky's blue, and you all'd say it's purple, yellow, and brown polcodotted, so, why should I waiste my time? You want help, you know what to do. Your e-mail isn't changing my decision, so quit trying!

Thank you kindly,

Christopher-Mark Gilland.

Chris:
I don't think it's fare to criticize Brandon, it's not like he is the
one demanding that you solve catpchas for creating accounts and
whatever other things you need to do to be productive. He's offering
the solution to a problem that currently has no other solution for the
Mac. If you can develop one for free that provides access to captchas,
I'm sure people will migrate to it if it's as usable. Or, you could
run boot camp on your mac, install firefox and webvisum, and off you
go.
I think you're jumping way ahead of yourself here, and your response
of not offering to help others just because they disagree with you is
quite childish. If you're going to respectfully agree to disagree,
such an action would certainly not be consistent with that.

Webvism is a firefox plug-in so it will work with any platform that firefox

read here where Mac users have done it with the Mac version of firefox.
Wonder how hard it would be to write a safari plugin for webvism.

Oh, while I'm here, it does seem conceptually unfair that blind people need to pay extra to solve a CAPTCHA when their sighted counterparts pay nothing.
But then like in Brandon's case, he has to cover expenses to deliver his
service. We nearly lost webvism earlier this year presumably when the
domain expired or something. I would gladly support webvism if I could get a better handle on who just actually owns the service. I don't like to give
money to some unknown entity that might disappear in a moment's notice.

Also, people defended the pricing models used by companies like Freedom
Scientific or Humanware. Well, that's the problem with being blindness
specific. Their prices are way over the top! Apple includes VoiceOver in
all machines and I personally doubt the price increased by much at all to
include this feature. Macs have always been more expensive than others so it was probablyh easier to add extra a11y stuff with a minimal increase in
price which was shared across the whole product line and all customers.

It simply wasn't doing anything, period. It wassupposed to make an
