Also, in my long term thinking, the thought crosses my mind that I could lose 
my job at any time due to perhaps machines taking over my job.  If this 
happens, then I have to make sure I have a computer which lasts me a long time 
as you don't know what's around the corner.  I also want a Mac Book air when 
the next one comes out and may be that may be the very last purchase I make for 
a very long time.  You know if you ask a charity to buy something for you, it 
would be a computer that would have the lowest specks and you also know it 
would be dead after a year or more.
