hello; now that's an interesting approach buying a computer like a car picking one that has to last you at least five years. i think because of the fact that so many of us blind people are on budgets and have to pay for this stuff ourselves that we far too often go for too little computer thinking more about this month or year than what would be best long term. i know i did when i bought my macbook pro this spring. i should have went with an SSD drive. I should have went with more ram. at the very least i should have went for the 700 GB hard drive. have fun with your computer. let me know how windows 8 and NVDA work out.
