Thanks guys. Option-cmd-arrows worked perfectly. Finder being immoveable 
explains why I missed this keystroke when trying to move things around. I 
wanted my dock in alphabetical order, and having finder ahead of app store is 
going to bug me, but I guess I'll get over it. <smile>
