That's one of the combinations I tried, and I just tried it again. Nothing 
happens. Yes, vo moves left or right, but hitting vo-shift-home to see if app 
store, the app I'm moving, is now first tells me instead that finder is still 
first, as it has always been. I conclude, therefore, that app store did not 
move. I also hit it a few times on finder, trying to move it right, but, again, 
it stayed in place. Can I not move items that were there by default? Do I need 
to do something odd, like turn off cursor tracking? Thanks.
