Greetings,
One of the nice things about downloading books from the National Library
Service (NLS) on the Mac is that if you have the check box in Safari
preferences that says "open safe files after download" checked, Safari will
extract the archived files you download from NLS and place them in their own
folders. This makes it very convenient so when you want to copy these books to
a device that can read them, all you have to do is copy the folder for each
book and you're good to go.
Now, here is the problem I had. I admit from the outset that I'm weird. I
decided on September first that I wanted to download all of the Harry Potter
novels, because I could, and because I could then read them whenever I wanted.
Well, what the Mac did, was give each Bard book the same folder name, almost.
It named each folder DB-JK and DB-JK2 and so on. So, I couldn't tell which book
was which. So, I deleted the 3 books I downloaded, and started over. This time,
I downloaded one book at a time, and renamed each folder with the correct name
for each book.
Now, finally, for my question. Is there an easier way I could have accomplished
this?
Thanks for reading this long message.
