This combo box as you describe it has been there for the last year, at least on windows. I have never used facebook on the mac side, as me and safari don't get along much. I'm learning to use it more each day, but still prefer IE. On the windows side of things, it has a edit box, then the combo box is right below it. maybe it's ML, and not face book?
